    We'll send a confirmation with preparation instructions and a pre-scan safety questionnaire to complete.

    Pre Scan

    Have your pre scan doctor consultation to make sure you understand what we can test for and what we can't see as well as making sure you are eligible for a scan - eg, not pregnant, no pacemaker or other potential metallic contraindications that can be dangerous near a magnet.

    Your scan day

    Arrive at the scanning clinic of your choice. Allow 90 minutes for a Full body MRI appointment, the scan itself is 60 minutes but you will need to change and have a short pre scan screen.

    Results & consultation

    Specialist report within 2–5 business days, followed by a medical consultation to discuss findings.
